Is it an Aussie Cadet like this ? : Two screws (shown right of the sight box) and that should be it. I can't remember, but it might be soft soldered. If it doesn't come loose after removing the screws, a hot wrench (propane torch) will take care of the solder. | |||

Yes it is exactly like that one. I removed the 2 screws, but it wouldn't budge. Must be soldered. Not sure if I will remove it if it takes a gas wrench. I am trying to fabricate a holographic red dot sight to fit on the original sight, or sight base. Grant. | |||

Yes they are soldered in place, It is soft solder so not too hard to get off. Cheers, Laurie | |||
