Looking at photos, it seems like the open rear sight on iron-sighted Blaser K95's is situated farther away from the eye along the barrel (and thus, closer to the front sight) than is usually seen on a typical (American) iron-sighted rifle. Such a sight arrangement, if this is the case, would seem to be a good thing for those of us with aging eyes. Can anyone provide any K95 sight measurements - how far from the eye (or trigger) is the K95's rear sight? | ||

Akriet : In my K-95 , an 60 cm (24 in.) barrel calibre 30 R Blaser, the rear sight is 35 cm (13.75 in.) from the barrel end (muzzle), 33 cm (13 in.) forward of the trigger , and 48 cm (19 in.) from the eye. And yes, is good for us with aging eyes , and aging evrything , except our young lust for shooting and hunting. The rifle is a joy to carry ( assembled or in the backpak) and is very accurate .
