This is one of Tom Griffins, Fraser Sidelevers. He did the barrel (Kreiger in .405Win). The stock will be an English walnut.

Nice. This is mine before we worked the tang. Its a 500/416 Nitro Express. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

Would like to contact the builder of this action as I am planning a new ss and would like a side lever but am concerned with extraction problems and need advice on suitable calibers. Kindest regards-Dr.Dozier sends

He posts here as "huntingcat". You can probably reach him through the Private Messaging function. This action is designed for rimmed cases only but with the variety of American and European rimmed cartidges today, there is really anything performance-wise you could want. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

Has anyone got the address/ph# for the person who makes the actions? Much appreciated. I feel the "ned" for a 50/3 1/4" again as my old Ruger #1 went away. Aloha, Mark When the fear of death is no longer a concern----the Rules of War change!!

Like I said, you can contact him through this site's PM function. For a barreled action like mine you're looking at somewhere between 2 and 3 grand, if that sorts some of it out for you. These are hand-made one at a time. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.
