I've been meaning to do this for a while. I had this little rifle made up for my upcoming trip to Namibia. MGM barrel and Luxus stock.

And for comparison a 450/400...

I really like the broken fiddleback. Is it Bastogne? I've just got to get a stock that has that type of figure.

It's just one of Luxus' standard Walnut stocks. Luxus also provided the checkering.

I plan on hunting Steenbok, Duiker, Jackal and Dik Dik with it this August. At home, it's my general plinking gun with hopes of shooting the occassional coyote. I shot a coyote with it a couple of months ago at a friends ranch.

It's everybody's (my wife and kids) favorite rifle at the range.

I took my Hornet to South Africa many years ago and had a real fun time with it. As very effective cartridge on the smaller stuff.
