Just got a NEF youth size .223 Rem Handi-Rifle for 11-year-old daughter, her second single shot -- first was a Crickett .22 LR. The trigger pulls like a truck door handle!!!

Can they be adjusted by a 'smith? I have 3# pull on my Rem's, CZ's and what have you. But my usual 'smith is too backed up (read SLOW) for an adjustment before time to hunt, and I may have to try another new local guy.
