I noticed the Prohunter weights more than the regular T/C Encore of similar chambering both with synthetic stocks. I know the Pro Hunter has a longer barrel and that would explain some of the weight. Is there a difference in the weight of the two synthetic stocks? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. John

I would think the synthetic stocks weigh about the same. The weight difference is caused by the Prohunter barrel. The Prohunter barrel is a heavy contour barrel and 28" while the standard barrel is 24" and a sporter contour.
