dgr416-I am not sure what you have based your opinions on, but they are way off the mark. I'm guessing you haven't been around the shooting sports, especially not single shot pistols, for any significant length of time.
For starters, TC offering factory barrels and ammo will have absolutely no bearing on the longetivity of the .375 JDJ, which happens to be one of the most renowned and respected calibers for hunting big game with the Contender. It's been around for a quarter century and is one of the most popular chamberings of SSK Industries.
The other JDJ chamberings are in no danger of fading away, either. I've gone through several 6.5 JDJ barrels over the years, and it's one of the best medium game calibers ever offered.
And there's PLENTY of .225 Win., .444 marlin and .222 Rem Mag brass around. I know, for I load wildcats utilizing this brass and have never, ever had a problem locating any sane amount -- and it's always at a reasonable price.
Your opinions are simply way off base...

I bet that the factory barrels in the 375 jdj will not last long.It was a big screwup to release them without ammo. They are already reduced to $199 for contenders a good deal.If brass and ammo had been out it might have made it good.I love mine its very accurate.
Some rounds make it some dont.In this country any thing 6.5mm and .358 will not make it.I want some factory 375 jdj brass I dont think its going to happen. The 204 Ruger is the newest barn burner as far as sales go.I am waiting on factory brass before I buy one.
Well they sold 257, 6, 6.5 & 7TCU , the Herrets, 270 Ren all without factory ammo. Plus things like the 300 Whisper and 7mm Waters with almost no factory ammo available. Those along with a whole list of hard to find chambering. Never been a problem in the past.

Is 225 win brass still made for the 6.5 jdj .I have no seen any listed.I have seen a few barrels for sale?I like my 375 jdj but the 375 winchester in a rifle is close on its heals if you reload.I have gotten 2400 fps with 220 gr hornady bullets and aa1680 powder.I also pushed the 235 gr speer 2350 with the aa1680 behind it in my big bore 94 using it as a first shot.
