yep, got one. If it were just for muzzleloading, the price is way too much. Mine was $530 and there are better muskets around for the money. However, since I also have other barrels, grips, etc for Contenders, it fits right in for me. T/C advertised velocities aren't reacheable, period! Using 150 grains of 777 behind a 195 gr SST sabot, I can get about 2200 fps but I normally use 120 gr behind a 195gr powerbelt for 2000 fps and 1 1/2" groups at 100 yds. Velocities with 275 gr powerbelts drops to 1750 using same load. Velocities with Goex or Pyrodex were about 250 fps lower.
