Some may argue with this, but in a medium caliber gun,and it that condition,as long as the wood is sound with no cracks,about $400 -$450... I had a new gun exactly like yours 15 years ago.It was a VERY painfull rifle to shoot off the bench,sighting it in.It was a great looking rifle,though.I just picked up a use #1S in .218 Bee..A bit easier to handle off the bench.. ![]() | ||

Mine is what do you feel the value of a used and worn, but solid Ruger 1-S, in .338 Winchester is worth, with rings? This is a red pad, 130 prefix version, decent appearing wood, light rusting here and there which should clean up. Appreciate the indulgences. | |||

I think a lot depends on how the bore is, where the rust is located, and whether there's any pitting or not. | ||
