have a s/s rifle in shop. this rifle has no name,caliber,or any markings on it.
looks to be from the 1890's or so,and the chamber cast mikes out to 25/20? cal.
I have pictures ,but they are 80k+ in file ,so will send to you if wanted.
rifle has deep engraving,cockind indictor and gold? inlay.
anyone want to take a kook and help id this rifle?
this is also listed on the collecting forum.

there are NO marking or proof marks on rifle,which I took down. all the screws that I measured are American standard thread. barrel is full oct. and is 22" length. I don't think it shows good in pictures,front sight is dove tail with pin head size sight, rear is a flip up "V" style,2 sided sight.
