You may be correct Dan and I really don't know much about Remington products. I thought the XP100 action was sized for the 221 Rem. and about the size of something like the Interarms Mini-Mauser. If it IS a Mod. 7 action I wonder why Remington is only offering it in SMALL small ctg's? Possibly the same marketing genius that chose the stock made that decision too?
