Guys I am trying to get a rifle built in 256 Win Mag and I need about three pieces of brass in order to get things going. Would like to have at least one piece to be reformed 357 Mag. Before you get into building this 256 Win Mag you should try to find some brass. Necking down 357 brass is no pic-nic. If you wanted a low density rimmed 25 I would look into a 25-20.

Or a 25BR a super accurate 25 and simple to make from 6BR brass. But it is not rimmed.

At keast there is factory brass available for both.I don't know who sells 256 Win Mag brass.
