I just got a 24" 45-70 barrel for my encore. The only problem is that when I mount a scope, it prints about 18" low at 25 yards. I tried different rings, a different scope. My only other option is to try a different scope mount or get one of those williams peep sites. I will try talking to T/C tomorrow and see what they can come up with. ON a side note the barrel shoots quite well with open sights.
