I am thinking about putting a Docter sight (or similar)on a Ruger #1 Big Bore. I have contacted Docter and AHR about a quick detachable mount and none are available? What are my options?

http://swfa.com/Burris-Ruger-t...e-Adapters-C630.aspx This adapter is for Burris Z Rings. Burris Zs will mount on a pick-a-ninny or weaver base. .

Would I be able to mount a Docter sight (or similar)Burris Fastfire111 directly to one of these mounts?

I called Burris and that mount will not work with a Fastfire 111. They said I would need a 1 piece pickatinny rail?

I have Docter sights on two Rugers. I got the mounts from Grafs but I haven't seen them for a while. I have them on M77s right now but I just got a 450/400 No 1 and I may switch one out. On the bolt guns they are mounted in the front scope base because they interfere with the bolt in the rear base. On the NO 1 it will definitely go in the rear base. Go on Amazon and search for Ruger mounts for the Fastfire. I found several for less than $50. Quick, Cheap, or Good: Pick Two
