I picked up a Stainless Ruger#1 in 375.The thing thats puzzleing me is its stainless/Walnut.I thought they were Stainless/Laminate.I've never seen or heard of one before.Did the previous owner swap stocks?Any thoughts?Thanks

Ruger made a couple of runs of stainless and walnut. As far as I know the cals made were 7.6x39 and .35 Whelen.
It woulde'nt surprise me to find out that they have now done it in .375 but I haven't heard about that one.

The above mentioned calibers were special runs for a distibutor,I know the 35 Whelen was for Lipsey's. Lipsey's also had a run of stainless/walnut in 6.5 swede last year. Lou
