Can anyone tell me the twist rate on a .44 RM Handi-Rifle Model SB2 with a 22" bbl? I have tried but just can't seem to do this properly. Believe it's around 1 in 28" twist.

Question:
Dogs name

Choices:
Rocky
Trouble

Your twist is 1 in 38". GW

The possibilities for disaster boggle the mind.

1:38", not 28". Link is a .pdf file from the SAAMI site, works fine, here's a hard copy pic. I have had two H&R 44 mags and had my hands on a third, all were 1:38" twist. All H&R twist rates can be found in the H&R Centerfire Rifle forum FAQs at GBO.
