I'm looking for info and price info on a Kessler Falling Block in 8.15x46R. I believe that it is a stalking rifle.

I believe DeHaas has a section on these in his Single-Shot Rifles and Actions book. I ran across a very nice one of these back in '92 here in Boise that came out of an estate. It was engraved in the Germanic style and color-cased. The receiver side unfortunately had a serious scratch from front to rear across it. Neat SS rifle. I wish I would have been in a position to pick it up back then. Oh well!

I passed on the one that I looked at as I couldn't find any info on them at the time. This one was a stalking rifle with plain wood. It was in exceptional shape and sold for $2000. I may have missed a good deal or got lucky.
