I did not see a post on the old NEF site from Safety Sheriff for a while..I hope nothing has happened to him. There were many times he was right in his recalcitrant rebuttals. And he liked "donuts."
Better watch it, I sic one of the CA deputies on you. |

| LMFAO!!!! This site is FULL of people who either got tired of Bills BS and left, or he banned. He just banned a whole load of guys just for posting on a thread over here. If you like it there, good luck... as long as you dont mind being edited and deleted, and having your private messages read by a third party. |

| I just registered over there, but am waiting on "activation" of my account.
How long does that usually take? |

| Haywire I agree with you. I hope it doesn't get stiffnecked here. Agreed, sometimes people got a bit carried away and the name calling stuff was bad, but the normal bantering was usually good natured and made one feel welcome. |

| Seems we have some new blood here... Welcome to ya one and all! And Karl, definitely keep us posted on that trigger. This is a great forum with a lot of excellent information to be had. Good forums are not easy to come by, eh? For those interested in another great place to hang, check out http://forums.nitroexpress.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=singleYou'll recognise some of the folks from here, as well. A toast, gentlemen, to good forums and single shot rifles Regards, |

| Hi everybody. I think I'll be hanging out here and at the Yahoo Group (just hate the pop-ups, etc. over there). There seems to be enough varied info here to keep me busy for a long time. I have started working on a drop-in single-set trigger group for the NEF/H&R rifles. Still in it's infancy, I have been studying existing designs, and have about a pad and a half of scribbles. Just about ready to start the formal drawings. I haven't set a time-line for the project, but I'll keep everyone informed as I progress. One question: On the H&R Talk site there was a fellow who was selling a spring kit for improving ejector function. Does anybody have his email address?...has anybody tried them? Karl |
