MY sons No.1 is a soild 3/4inch rifle with 87gr speers at 3400. Really blows p dogs up.

Wow, what nice wood. Although I'm not a fan of the .25-06, I know it's a favorite in the midwest and has a niche for deer and antelope.

Best of luck to you with this fine rifle. You are lucky to acquire such a beauty.
