Galaxy FlyerBrowning 1885 High Wall .22-250
Big Bore Fan,
I needed to be more specific-I'm interested in knowing if the late model Winchester M1885 Low Walls have ejector or an extractor. If ejector, I presume the case deflector is selectable.

Big Bore FanGF,
I only have experience with the Browning Modells, made in the 90´s by Miroku. I never saw a 1885, made by Miroku, in the last years for the Winchester company. Since we haven´t a "good" general dealer in the 21th century for Winchester/Brwoning rifles, this typs are very rare here.
The Brownings have all an ejector with selectable case deflector. Only the BPCR-rifles have had an extractor.
I found this manual for a Winchester Traditional Hunter.
http://stevespages.com/pdf/win..._1885_centerfire.pdfI mean, it´s the same, as the Browning. Although with the ejector.
Here in Germany, the only new made Winchester High Wall you can buy, is the new Traditional Sporter, with the round barrel. Here this rifle is priced for 1590.-€.

Big Bore FanOK, I did a mistake. I found my Browning 1885 Manual for High, Low Wall and the BPCR´s.
The Low Wall´s haven´t had an ejector. Only an extractor and so, not an case deflector.
Here, at page 5/6 you can see it:
