A while back, Ross Seyfried had an article in DGJ about elk hunting with a tiny little Webley falling block chambered in .455, the British standard pistol cartridge of the time. The action appeared to have a round breechblock, flattened at the top to form the barrel shank mating surface. This left the threads or at least the shank exposed, but appeared to be simple and compact. I've since found no more data about them, but would love to find information or even more pictures. Any ideas?

Hello

Rodney Storie offers castings for a "Webley" that based on some sort of cylindical principle.

If you have a look at the "unofficial" online catalouge of the Storie castings http://kwk.us/FA/ I'd love to hear how it works from someone who has seen one, cause I sure can't figure it out.

Cheers - Foster
