I am looking around and trying to decide what gun to get next and looked at the single shots. Can you put target sights on them like a target .22 plinker or something. I really like iron sights and wanted to know if someone made sights or if there was a manufacturer that did well in that area? Thanks in advance for taking the time to help a noob.

T/C Contender in .22lr would accept all the sights normally available for that gun and allow you to add more horsepower on down the road.

Just buy one of the Martini 12/15 .22 Target Rifles from MT Guns at (805) 720-7720 or http://www.mtguns.com and they will come with excellent sights. As of about six months ago, the whole thing would only set you back around $375.00 or so.

Thanks for the advice. I think im looking for a Ruger #1 with some good iron sights. For some reason with good iron I can do much better than with a scope. It would basically be a little varmit in the yard and punching paper. I was thinking just a .204 or a .223.
