I have an 1885 highwall that seems to have a problelem with sticking cartridge cases. Its in 30-06 and I'm not sure why the cases seem to stick upon attempting to eject.

I will admit that these are reloads and that could indeed be the sole problem. Any other things that come to mind?

Thanks for your assistance.

Best regards,

Bill

I had a Ruger #1 in 300 Wby that would not extract cases with near Max loads. The extractor on it was not as positive as on a bolt action, and it would slip out of the groove if the case was sticking.
