Dear Luxus Arms,

I hate you, because I love those stocks so dearly. I'm afraid to even ask for the price.

Sincerely,

Urodoji

Sigh...

time to start shopping I guess

Lux, Why do you cut those stocks so short? It's easy to shorten them later on if needed, but hard to streach them out.

Next question.., These new single shots that you're building soon. What calibers are they going to be in? Any pics available?

Hi Mike,

they may look short but they are not. They are longer than the factory stocks and our standard LOP is 14, We can go a little longer but if for example if a 15.0 Lop is desired we would need to reprogram making it overly expensive at this point.
We can accomodate most request. 14.25 and lower. We are making them now to about 14.0. You are right it easier to remove wood .

Our single shot is coming along well. Hope by show time we can release photos and will do so here on AR.

Regarding the prices please visit our web site for more information.

Thanks,
LUX

So how do I get one with a 14 1/2" LOP with pad with AH forend (or equivalent)? Shipping to you is not an option!

Cheers,

Chris

I sent off for a quote from Turnbull to have the receiver, underlever, scope rings, and quarter rib on my .450-400 rifle color case hardened. One of those gorgeous stocks to finish the rifle off would be tits.

So what about the new rifles and calibers? I'm drooling already!

The rumor, (that I just started) is that it will be a Dan'l Fraser style side lever falling block! Sound good?

That's some very nice wood...of course you already knew that.
Someday I've been saving up to get a setup for my Encore....now I may need to get a Ruger and save money to restock that.
Priorities, the Encore gets used ALL the time...time to make her pretty.
Not trying to hijack...have you ever made a pistol grip and forend for the Encore?
Maybe just a rough shape and let the buyer finish it out???
Just a thought if you had scraps laying around.

I have a serious question. Yeah, I know. It happens.

I have one of the Steve Earle Wesson #1 Long Range replica actions. Looks like a Farky.
What would a sort thru the rack scary nice two piece blank set run me? As nice as the Ruger samples you have us all drooling over?

now I am sure I hate you!

I am trying to take advantage of the weak economy, and here you are telling the seller to jack me up another 15%!

The action was about fifteen and a half (if I spell it out it doesn't look as bad as the $xxxx does) and it needs good wood on it.

Rich

I always write neatly, "God Bless" on the back side of a hundred dollar bill. I also scribbled something similar on that lump of coal you found in your stocking!

Rich

Fantastic evening here. Judge Jerry and his wife were down from Salmon for dinner. As they headed to the door, Lawndart and his wife knocked. It took another two hours of them talking guns and the entire bottle of Amarula I had been saving for a special occasion before anybody left. A good visit.

Mike,

you're telling me that warm fuzzy feeling isn't worth 25-cents?
As for the IOU, I'd much rather owe it to you than try and beat you out of it...
