Did Ruger ever make one of these fine models on a 25 06?? and if so, anyone know where I might get one? I have one in 223 and absolutely love it!

No, they didn't. I believe they were only made in .22 Hornet, .223 Rem, .30-40 and .45-70.

That's too bad...guess I'll be looking for a Ruger model 1 in 25 06-love to have a synthetic stock and ss barrel!

Just .22 Hornet, .223, .30/40 Krag, .375 Win., and .45/70!

I'd forgotten the .375 Winchester. That and the .30-40 seemed the two best cartridges for that rifle.

Also, but pretty rare, 44 magnum.
