Bought this custom Martini (built on Greener shotgun action) on GunBroker awhile back. Have no idea who built it as the only markings on it are the caliber (9x57R) and original serial number. Was smitten the instant I saw it so I bought it. Unfortunately, it had all sorts of mechanical issues and it took awhile to find a 'smith to tackle it. I'm pleased to say it now goes "bang" and it is anxiously awaiting a trip to the deer woods this season. If the handy-work looks familiar to anybody, I'd love to know who commisioned it and/or built it.

Nice color case job, that's for sure. Bet it handles well.

Might check with Turnbull. Most folks use him for color casehardening, so he may remember who sent it to him.
