Sweet rifle Frank. Look out Pronghorns, Mule Deer and Whitetails...!!
Too bad you probably don't have time to tune it up for the jaunt to Namibia. The .375 H&H is up to it though judging from the way it shoots.

Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.

Can't stand mannlicher stocks.

Would be a much nicer rifle with a Alex Henry fore end.

Nice! I really like mine. Just a word, I keep a small piece of foam rubber in the forward sling loop. It keeps the metal from denting the wood when no sling is attached. You are really going to liked you RSI.

That's funny, I can't stand the look of the AH fore end. I own another No. 1 B with the semi-beaver fore end but I won't buy a gun with the AH fore end.

Thanks I was wondering about that.

I took a piece of foam rubber tubing and I slit it to fit there.

It is true that is why they make a lot of different configured stocks. Like you I own several Ruger no 1s and all mine except one are AH style, the other one is a bull barreled 7mm mag varmint rifle that has a wide flat bottomed stock for bench shooting.

I also own some Mannlicher MCA bolt rifles and none of those have full length stocks either. So I guess you and I must hide our rifles to avoid reticule here!
