Stainless #1s
I haven't seen one in the flesh since moving back to the USA a year ago, but all the ones I see for sale online are $1300-1750. Are they selling at those prices?

I'd like to have a 405, 375 H&H and a 300 or 30-06.

The most accurate #1 I ever owned was a stainless 375.

I've only seen one in the flesh. My cousin has one in 35 Whelan. It was a distributor exclusive several years ago. It's a 1A with a nice stick of walnut. A pretty gun that shoots good. I worked up loads for him with the 225 Gr. Nosler Partition and IMR 4064.

All the Rugers have been going up in price, particularly the discontinued ones and that's to be expected..Stainless Internationals are out of sight, big bores from the 300 Win and up going sky high, stainless and wood is popular and bringing good money. Some of the others that are more common sell good in the $850 to $1000 or better..Folks are realizing what a good gun they are I guess. The #1s are todays investment gun IMO..

No1s and twin barrel shotguns should never be stainless or wear anything but wood. JMO.
