I just thought some of you that have not heard of them before might like to see what my friends Ron and Duke are building up in Big Sandy. Duke is a custimer of mine and Ron is a buddies Unkle so I have gotten to see a lot of these little beautiful rifles.
They even made one in .600NE for a custimer that special ordered it. Never saw that one but heard it was awsome. Anyway have a look. They do awsome work!! MT.

They set up once at a gun show here in Tucson.
Nice guys to talk too and the work looked great. Just way too pricey for my wallet. Frowner If I ever hit the damned lottery though, I'd sure look into one.

I lust for one in a 25-35 and wouldn't mind having another in 38-55, but yes they are too spendy in that I can buy a pretty good double for a tad more and I am inclined to do that..

Yes Ronnies neice's husband Brett is a good friend of mine, So is Monica for that matter. Monica has the 38/55, and I have lusted for it for many many moons. Some day I will ask her to shoot it when I'm out at thier ranch. Just never seem to have the time when I'm out there. Either there to hunt deer and elk, or branding calves.

I haven't followed all the twists and turns of the story.....are they no longer owned/associated with Dakota Arms? (and I'm not posting this to start some kind of pissing match, I don't know the answer, last time I heard Dakota had bought them.)

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Fortunately, IIRC that deal fell thru. The good news is that they cut a deal with Chiappa (Key-oppah) Firearms in Italy to build them as well. They guys still offer the fancy ones, but the Chiappa is $1199 retail, at least the ones they had at the SHOT Show were. Mine (38-55) is supposed to be here in a couple more weeks. Good news, they have a 1:12" twist. I'll let you all know how it shoots.
