DOES ANYONE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NO.5 WINCHESTER 1885 AND THE OTHER 1885 HIGHWALL ACTIONS.

Never heard of a #5 1885 action. Could you be refering to the barrel? It would be a VERY heavy barrel. I believe there are rumors or actual actions barreled as heavy as #6 according to Campbell in his book on the Win Singleshot. So, I imagine that #5s exist as well. But probably not many. I have a #3 and it's a pretty heavy target barrel.
