I dont have one of these, but I sure will some day. Do any of you have one ? I did shoot one a few years back when a guy came to the range with one. God that gun was a thing of beauty! It made me want to go shoot a buffalo. I would get the 45-110 or maybe even the 45-70. His was the 45-110. It kicked like an SOB. His was the 1874 Long Range Express. http://www.shilohrifle.com/ 30-30 Man 30-30 Man

Thanks guys Hey Brent , I like your web site and the great articles. You think a lot like me. I am a new pup on this forum and am getting to know my way around. You remind me of Matthew Quigley. It looks like you run into Elliott Marston a lot here. 30-30 Man I said I didn't have much use for one. Didn't say I didn't know how to use it. Matthew Quigley

As one of the original 4 people who helped develop this rifle back in the 70's, I have several. None however are as fancy as the one on Shiloh's website. They all shoot however. The early rifles were an exact copy of the original Sharps. They were for all intents and purposes Sharps rifles.
