Here are the official rules for all categories:

H&R/NEF Single Shot Firearms ONLY.

Centerfire Rifle:
(.223REM, .223 AI, .22-250, 25-06, 270WIN, .280 REM, 30-30, 30-06, 45-70?)
3X5 card for target
Range- 100 yards
Stable rest allowed
Optics allowed
If I get enough cards I will try to split this into to categories. 22 centerfire up to the quarter bores, and 270 and up.

Centerfire Pistol Calibers (357, 357 MAX, 44 MAG, .444 Marlin, 45-70?)
3X5 card for target
Range 50 yards
Stable rest allowed
Optics allowed

Rimfire rifle:
(.17 HRM, .22 RF, .22WRM)
3X5 card for Target
RAnge 50 yards
Stable rest allowed
Optics allowed

Shotgun:
(slug guns)
3X5 card for target
Range 50 yards
Stable rest allowed
Optics allowed

Muzzleloader:
(.50 cal sabot, or full caliber balls, and conicals)
3X5 card for target
Range 50 yards
STable rest allowed
Optics allowed

To be honest, I'm not real enthusiatic about counting pellet holes, so I'd really rather not do shot gun patterning.

Information to include on all cards:

Nickname on the board (required)
Real name (optional)
Date target was shot (required)
Weather conditions (required)
Firearm type; Centerfire, rimfire, shotgun, muzzleloader(required)
Firearm model; ie Ultra Varmit, Ultra Hunter, Handi Rifle etc (required)
Caliber (required)
Load Data (optional)
Optics (optional)
Modifications done to firearm (optional)
Gratuitous compliments or ego boosters to the judge (REQUIRED)

For info on where to mail cards send an email to:
wscott@ptsi.net

Prizes will be a GREAT BIG STEAMIN' BOWL OF JACK, AND BRAGGIN' RIGHTS!!!

Questions? Comments? Smart remarks? (keep 'em to yourself )

Seriousley comments welcome.....

Sorry, I thought that was in there.

The deadline for cards sent in is May 15th. Must be a five shot group in all categories except shotgun slugs.

Email me at wscott@ptsi.net for info on where to send your finished target too.

Scott17,
I have a hard time splitting out seperate categories if there are only one or two people that shoot for it. Generally, if there are enough people in a category when I get all of the cards, I will put them in their own category. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you want to shoot with open sights, and there are enough people that also do, I will split you guys out into a seperate category.

Every category is five shot groups except shotgun slugs.
