I'm getting a Ruger No.1 in 375H&H and as you all may already know it comes with a set of High Rings.
My plans are to mount a Leupold VX III 1.75-6x32 on this rifle.
According to Rugers Info I can get by with Ruger Low Rings.
Will the lows be too low that they interfear with loading or ejection? Would I be better off to stay with the Highs or go to Mediums or Lows?

Mount the scope as low as scope objective bell clearance will permit. That's the critical criterion, not loading/ejection. The scope bell must not touch the barrel.

Thanks El Deguello! I was planning to mount it with Low Rings. I plan to hunt Water Buffalo with it and was concerned that I might need to reload in a hellva hurry and follow up.I'll be backed by a 470 Double but I don't want the PH to shoot unless he absolutely has to.So quick reloading may be of dire importance?

Just mounted a vxII 2x7 on low rings. 45-70 empties bounce off the back / bottom of the scope. Also a little tricky to do a speed re-load. Not real hard, just tricky. No clearance problems, but an extra 1/8" wouldn't have hurt.

Try the high rings first. If you have a hard time w/ getting a natural cheek weld or are unhappy w/ the visual profile, drop down to mediums.

By the way, seems to be some confusion as to what is high, what is medium, etc.. Recommend you get the actual measurements from Ruger before ordering. Just my $0.02.

#1-S

You may want to consider that the 375H&H does kick a bit. (At least my #1 does!) Stock crawling resulting freom a low hard cheek weld is sometimes UNCOMFORTABLE.
I fond that I shoot mine better with med height rings so that my head is more erect than with a low ring system. In any case, make sure yo have enough eye relief.

Put your nose to the grindstone, your belly to the ground, and your shoulder to the wheel. Now try to work in that position!

RWS2. Al Miller did an excellent article in either Rifle of Handloader Magazine called "Speedloading the Single Shots". I don't have the issue number right at ahnd, but maybe you could contact the magazine and se if a copy of that article is still available.
Just my opinion, but I that anyone who wants to hunt with a single shot should read that article.
FWIW, I tried a couple of the methods he describes and they work quite well.
If Wolfe Publishing doesn't have it anymore, I can try and find it and make a copy and snail mail it to you.

Ok Thanks I'll check on it and see if I can get a copy thanks!

I got my Ruger No.1 375H&H and even though the catalog says they are shipped with High rings my came with a set Mediums in the Box.
So I'm going to try them first and go from there if need be.
