Pretty rare, it's a hard to find chambering from what I've read doing casual research on No.1 and No. 3 rifles. The 1-V was chambered in 22 PPC but only for a short time. According to J. D. Clayton's book the “Ruger No. 1” in which he writes about the history of the No. 1 up to the year 1996, states that the 22 PPC was a non-cataloged item in 1993 and cataloged item in 1994 through 1996. Just because Ruger showed a No. 1 in a particular caliber in their catalog doesn't mean they actually made any.
