375-06JDJrifle action plans
I am looking for falling block rifle plans. I have the book my walter mueller, and the book my DeHaas is coming in the mail. Does anyone know of any other plans available. Thanks in advance. wk

asdfI was disappointed by the 4 rifles in De Haas' book--ditto Mueller's. The drawings are adequate, but the designs were a bit uninspiring, I thought. Both books have many good ideas, even if the final design was a bit lacking. The
ASSRA has dimensioned drawings for the rolling block, the high wall, the Ballard, the Hepburn, and a few others, available at modest cost to members. They are not as complete as one might like and are reproduced at a tiny scale, but you could make a rifle from them. I've read the plans from
Buffalo Arms are well done, but they are pricey. On their site, Search for the word machinist.

tnekkccThis forum has putz' like me that cut threads and make a post, but it also has guys who make a half dozen falling blocks from scratch.

our wickliffe '76 will take up to a 500 ne if i remember right and it is a strong modern action.

skbI have some plans for a falling block english action. They are currently being entered into a CNC program, with a small run of actions planned. Any intrest in the Westley Richards 1897 action? If all goes well we may offer them in several sizes.
