Hello Guys I want a nice break action (kipplauf ) style single shot, but having single malt tastes on a beer budget I find that the European offerings are not affordable. The TC offerings of Contender and Encore do not IMO make stylish rifles with the grip angles and the like making it impossible to achieve a rifle that handles like a Kipplauf or No 1 does. So . . . I have after about 47 iterations come up with what I think might be a design for an alternative frame that uses Encore barrelsets but is optimised as a rifle. It is underlever, is hammerless, and has very simple lockwork with geometry that should enable a good hunting trigger to be had. Best of all it is simple, and should be able to be based primarily on one major CNC part, with some hand fitting of the lockwork. Before I start spending my hard earnt $$ on CAD drawings, and maybe even a prototype, I would like to know if anyone has undertaken a similar project, or knows of someone who has ??
