My No. 1 Tropical (375H&H) has the stock quarter rib, and I'd like to mount a scope to it, however, I am having problems locating the correct mounts for this specific application... anyone help with this...

Mounts for a Ruger #1 are both the same height. Mounts for the M77 are two different heights, with the taller one being IIRC, the rear mount and the shorter one in front. I can't figure out why my #1H in .375 came with mounts but my .404 Jeffery and .416 Rigby didn't? Hell, Ruger has not only raised prices for #1s out of sight, but got even chintzier by no longer including rings. Hopefully that will change if enough people bitch about it.
You can contact Ruger for a set of rings. IIRC, they run about $50 a pair.

I don't understand your problem! Isn't your 1H rib slotted for the standard Ruger rings? I got a 1H in .375 in a trade a couple of years back, and just put a pair of old standard Ruger medium height No. 1 rings on it that I had left over from some previous Ruger No. 1 project. Mounted a Leup. Vari-X III 2.5X-8X scope in the rings, and everything worked out fine....

I also believe at least two other manufacurers make rings for the No.1. Check with Brownell's.....
