I have a mossberg model 21 that has been in the family for many years. My grandma passed and it was in the corner of her bedroom. The stock finish was rough and the steele was semi surface rusted with amazingly only 2 small pitts on the barrel. I have the stock stripped and the steele stripped to bare metal, pitts came out, and polished and ready for blueing. The only thing i'm waiting on is there was a rear blade that someone did one goober of a silver solder job on. With that off and cleaned up would you drill and tap it and install a Williams adjustable blade or maybe a Williams adjustable peep? The front sight bead was pretty trashed and a Williams 3/8 dovetail gold front bead fits perfect and looks right on the rifle. There was a peep that was a reciever side mount but i can't find one. I'm not sure but i don't think the rifle is worth a ton and it will probably go to my boy. Just not sure if i wanna drill it or not.

Nobody likes .22's???? Well i drilled it and installed a Williams peep. Parts are blued, i have to flute and finish the stock yet but this little project is turning out quite nice. Should be good for a few more kids to enjoy.
