I just checked the Ruger # 1 group, there serial number records say that there were 1820 documented CHP commemoratives made in 357 in a
# 1-A configuration. Still cant find any Info on a # 3 in 357 or info on a # 3 commemorative. Can you tell us where you found that Info ?.

Its possible I got it wrong, I remember seeing one at an OGCA show, but I'm getting old and perhaps it was a #1.

Got to watch those OGCA shows, there's so much nice stuff there that it's easy to forget what you seen and where you seen it. Been a OGCA life member since 1970, I'll never forget the good old days at the Columbus shows.

I probably bumped into you at vets, I never missed a show there and they were the best ones!

I guess it's possible we could have bumped into each other, I agree, the Vets shows were the best, and of course another "best" was the Spaghetti Warehouse just across the street.
