For all of you guys that have encores with multiple barrels. Hmmmmn, is there a different kind???? When you change barrels say from .243 to .338 and have scopes on each barrel, does the barrel and scope stay "sighted in" when you put it back on? Thanks Jim

I have an Encore stainless with 4 barrels, 50 cal muzzleloader, 308 Win 24", 308 Win 15", and a 300 Win Mag 26". I have Leupolds on each barrel and have not had any problem with them keeping zero after changing the barrels. I don't know if this is true for everyone but works for me. Hope this helps you out. I regularly swap Encore barrels, and have never noticed any significant change in point of impact. Bill

Jim B, I have several dozen Contender/Encore barrels with scopes on them and have never encountered a problem with retaining zero, I purchased my first Contender in 1980 then I contracted the terrible disease (MORE BARRELS) at least that is what the wife says. Albert,
