hey everyone I just bought a redfield 1 piece mount for a ruger no.1 off of e-gunparts but I don't know anything about it. has anyone owned this or seen this installed? i am just curious if it uses the existing holes or if it has to be drilled and tapped. any info on this part would be great. I do know that not many people have this piece and that redfield no linger makes it. thanks for the help

Saw the same one. I'll look in the back of old Gun Digest to see if I can identify. It must take the place of the Ruger rib, right? Bob

So it goes on top of the #1 rib instead of joining to the barrel itself? Bob
