Irons? A shorter front sight. Scope? A better scope. What load are you shooting? A heavier or faster bullet may help. Are you shooting from a proper benchrest or an improvised arrangement? Describe your setup. And, does it shoot low for everyone who tries it?
right now im shooting 405 gr. rem with open sight, i see midway has a lower front sight and a taller rear sight that i think im going to try, shoots o,k with scope.thanks
go with the lower front sight first. or start shooting hotter ammunition.i just dont understand why these companys dont sight their rifles for factory ammo. that is what you are using , isn't it?? i've seen quite a few marlin guide guns that did the same thing.as a handloader i would find a proper load for me and then adjust the sights. good luck

You need to either raise the rear end of the scope a little, or lower the front of the tube. The easiest way short of getting a new set of scope rings is to placea shim in the bottom half of thge rear ring then reinstall the scope. i would use a strip or two of aluminum cut from a beer can for this. It is essential to use a beer can, as if you were to cut your strips from a soft-drink can, the rifle will be offended..........
Gee I thought you had a scope on it..... Yes, reducing the height of the front sight blade will raise the point of impact........
