It used to be that Brownell & Billingsley had an upgrade package for Ruger No. 1 rifles. I don't see them advertising that service anymore. What gunsmiths now offer a similar package of light metalwork and stock slimming and refinishing? thanks...jim if you're too busy to hunt, you're too busy.

Jim, Here's a link to the ACGG member info list and what their services are. As I went through, there appeared to be several who list Ruger No.1 work, including Duane Wiebe, Mark Stratton and SDH. http://www.acgg.org/PDF%20files/DirServices.pdf

Hey Jim Check these guys out. http://www.eabco.com/Ruger01.html They did a #1 for me about a year ago in 30-06AI. They did a wonderful job. Shoots under MOA consistantly. I sent them a #1 barreled action I had and they did their accuracy stuff and put a stock on. It turned out so good I am thinking about sending my other #1 in.

35WhImp, I know about them and their single shot and rimmed cartridge line, but I didn't think of them as No. 1 people. Thanks, I will call them...jim if you're too busy to hunt, you're too busy.
