Before you beat me up: I don't have it for sale. I saw it for sale yesterday at McBrides Guns in Austin Texas in the second hand rack. It is possibly a 1S and it is a 7mm Remington Magnum calibre. About 85%, and I think they had $550 on it (I looked at a lot of second hand guns). It has iron sights and a fairly heavy barrel and the Alexander Henry forend. So I am calling a 1S.

Do you have a question about it? Or are you just letting us know it is there? Depending on condition, that might be a pretty decent price if a guy wants a 7mm Mag. I know of at least one of those which is a really fine shooter. In the mid-1980s I bought a 7mm Mag No. 1-S at a gun show in Mesa, Arizona. It came complete with a 4-X Leupy scope and was (still is) in a condition best described as "indistiguishable from new". Best part was, it only cost me $285 complete with scope, scope covers, a nice leather sling, canvas case, and a box of shells!! At least, I thought that was the best part. Then I tried shooting it. Laws-a-mercy chillun!! That rifle he do be shootin' regular, reliable 5-shot 100 yard groups of right at 3/4" OR SMALLER!!! Best buy I ever made at a gun show in the U.S., I figger.........well, mebbe not, but close.... My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

I bought a used #1 7mmMag 3 years ago for $475. It is 1.5moa rifle. If I have 100 deer rifles, it is one of the few that gets to hunting. I really like it.

Just letting everyone know that it is there. Not in a position to buy it myself.
