I just picked a used Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70, this model has the double set triggers. I am not comfortable with the setting of the firing trigger, it is too light for my liking. Could anyone describe the correct procedure for adjusting the pull on this trigger. Thanks in advance

This may be stating the obvious but have you tried the Pedersoli website? I found (and copied) the owners manual for my 1874 Sharps replica which I believe has the trigger adjustment info.

It's rather trivially simple actually. The screw that is between the two triggers adjusts the pull of the trigger after it has been set. Screw it in to be lighter and out to heavier - or it is the other way around? In any event, one full revolution will almost certainly be more than you want.
