Thought I would post a few pictures of my new Luxus Model 11. It is a 2-barrel set in .300 H&H and .22-250. As you can see, the wood is fabulous, case colored with rust blued barrel and components and charcoal blued screws/etc.

I topped it with a Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40 (surprise) and I'm shooting handloads with RL-22 and Barnes TTSX 180gr. It is shooting sub moa from my one time on the range. I've hunted two days with it so far with no opportunity to down any game.

It may be the best balanced rifle I've owned and a delight to carry. Enjoy the pictures.

Interesting wood. At least you don't need camo paint to make it blend into the woods. You may want to spray paint the barrel and the action though. Big Grin

It's a very pretty rifle.

I have a few of these and was by the Luxus shop a few weeks back to snoop around. Great trigger and great wood in a gun that carries well and shoots even better... what more could you ask for?

I have a Custom Grade like the one above in 257Wby.
Fantastic rifle. So far I only fired two shots in two
years for two deer. One shot each. It is a very nice looking and very accurate right out of the box and the trigger is a dream at 2lbs.

I have a 3-9 Leupold in factory mounts on it.

Things are a little slow on AR lately. But as I fondle my firearms waiting for the upcoming hunting season, I have concluded that my favorite is this beautiful Luxus 11 in .300 H&H. I also have a .22-250 barrel for it which I've never fired. This rifle is 1/2 moa at 100 with my RL 22 / TTSX 180 handloads.

Super light with the Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40, best carrying rifle of all time. Plus I get to look at that great wood while I'm stalking through the woods.

Only con is that's it's a single shot. Aim small, miss small!!

But that's why it is light, well balanced, and quick to bring on target - a very useful trade-off.

I have really enjoyed mine as well. I have spent many hours of sitting in a stand admiring the rifle. It shoots well too.

Well my friends that is the beauty of it. I have two single shot rifles. The Luxus 257 Wby and an H&R 257 Roberts. A completley revamped and accurized rifle on par with the best hunting rifles. It lacks the snob appeal, other than that it is a super performer. It is perhaps the best running game rifle I ever owned. Never fretted about not having a second shot available. Although I can see a double rifle for dangerous game.
