I just saw a K95 that was advertised as a Sig-Blaser K95. I assume at one time that Sig Arms was the importer - is this the case and if so when did Sig stop importing them?

Yes, Sig was the importer up until a few years ago. Blaser moved to Calfornia temporarily, eventually moving to San Antonio where they are now.
My K95 is a Sig import.
