It is a 7x65R ejector. If it had not been locked behind the glass case, I'd have have had thoughts of larceny Eeker

Jeff,

I know what you mean. One of those situations where you involuntarily check to see if you can lift the glass cover..

That picture is pretty funny. The guy in the background reading the calories per serving on the Magnum champagne bottle. :-)

Grenadier,

Congrats on a beautiful rifle. I hope it makes you smile every time you shoulder it.

It's nice to see postings from fellow single shot fans. I hope you had a chance to handle the H&H falling block. I ordered it and they surprised me by having it there for me. I'm not a very good photographer but here are some more pictures of it.

Holy Smokes Grenadier:

I sincerely apologize for all the drool I left on your rifle. I definately took it to hand, fondled it and had unnatural thoughts about it. What a fantastic singel shot - well done!

No worries Steven, I'm still learning the various falling-block actions and appreciate your kind correction.

Thanks.

These rifles are God's way of telling me I don't make as much money as I think I do.

Good hunting,

I can't see his face very well but I'm pritty sure it's Gerhard Hartmann, Actully I've never known him to drink more than maybe one beer at a given time.

Grenadier

I have been critical of the work I've seen done by H&H on contempeary guns other than the royal model doubles. I would have said H&W make the finest falling block rifles but the comparison is right here before us on this thread and with your rifle H&H has set the bar up for everyone out there. The action looks like a Hagn but I don't see the roller bearing safty switch, I'm guessing the slide safty is an H&H modification? Absolutely beyond beautiful rifle.

Jeff Welker did a fine job of finding the really top end single shot rifles to photograph and post here. Names like Holland and Holland and Hartmann and Weiss are as we all know iconic in the world of very fine guns.

Your singleshot Hagn posted fits very well on this thread and my hats off to your skill.
I have many rifles built by your contemperaries in the gild and I think all of you can be a proud bunch. I'm sure we share a few friends in common.

Grenadier,

Did you really drop $150K on that single shot?
