I really would like one of these in 7 mag as my mid to long range deer rifle. What is the wieght of the rifle with a factory magnum contour barrel?

The weight depends on the stock. The plastic stocks are strong, light, and less expensive. the laminates are strong, heavier, and can be pretty expensive. the walnut falls between the other two in weight and price.

I've had best accuracy with Encore barrels with the Virgin Valley laminated fore end and hanger bar, but my .223 Contender barrel does it's best with a factory composite stock.

Each barrel is a rule unto itself.
