I got an e-mail from Virgin Valley today, seems it is true, they are history. Also looked at Bullberrys, they seem to put out a top quality barrel but from what I could see you have to buy one of there stock sets do to the hanger bar system. This adds major $$$$ to this project. I also looked at MBMCO. I think that is right from the earlier post. They also seem to make a great quality barrel from Douglass blanks. That is very cool. I used to live 2 miles from there factory and about 8 miles now. Seems these can use factory stocks. I thought this would be an easy solution for a lefty, but the more I get into it, the more difficult it gets.

You seem to be having a lot more luck than I am with a 25-06 bbl on an Encore. For whatever reason, I can't get mine to shoot worth crap. After spending about a year, and a small fortune on various powders, & every bullet weight, and type, I can't get it to group better than 2" with anything I have tried. I have written this thing off as a total waste of time and money.
However, I am really glad to see that someone is getting good results with it.
Would you be willing to let me know the load you are using? Maybe it's something I missed.
Thanks

Kimber - I have a Fox Ridge barrel in a .250 Savage that is very accurate, where as my .270 Win. barrel from the factory is less accurate. I'm not for sure why the difference, but the .270 seems to only like certain receipes of powder with a particular brand of bullets. Those it doesn't like scatter the bullets like buckshot. I have reworked the bedding on the forearm, which has helped the .270 some (I have two different frames). Riley

As far as Eabco goes I heard he was getting his barrels from Virgin Valley so I'm not sure if he's taking custom barrel orders right now you could allways email and check. I have 2 of his barrels both in pistol lengths and they shoot.
